Here are a few shots of Anthony's Allstate taken in my home town at the annual Run To The Sun car show every October. To say the least I was really inpressed by Anthony's car. He's from Albuquerque New Mexico and found this car as a bare shell five years ago, no firewall, no floors, no front clip. He built a new firewall and complete floor pan from alunimum. Front end is a custom unit with coils, rear is an Alson 4-link with a Ford 9in with 4:30 gears. Motor is a .030 over 454 with all the goodies including a BDS 8:71 topped by twin 750 Edelbrock carbs. Check out the custom Sears valve covers and headrests, not in the catalog I'd bet. Trans is a TH400 shifted by a B&M shifter. Body work was done by Anthony also including welding up all the seams in the rear fenders and a custom rear roll pan. The car came with no front clip so Anthony bought two Henry's site unsean in a nearby town. When he went to pick them up he discovered that one of them had the original front clip from his Allstate. Anthony also made the custom fenderwell headers for the car, as well as the grill. Wheels are Weld Drag Lights with 31X16.5X15 on the rear. Anthony built a 16 gallon fuel cell and ran dual fuel pumps with seperate fuel lines to each carb, pretty smart if you ever had one fail. Dash has been extended back four inches to make room for the motor, and custom gauges were added after removing the center speaker and the stock guage hole. He also built a full roll cage to help support all the horsepower of the big block Chevy. Car also has one piece power windows, tilt, and custom sound system. This as a very well done car and preserves alot of the old school flair, and black with flames is also a favorite. If you see this car, talk to Anthony, he's a great guy and very knowledgable, tell him you saw it on "THE HENRY J PAGE!!"
